New work: documentary video content with DoorDash and PATH San Diego

We love making short documentary-inspired content, especially when it features organizations that are making a difference. Earlier this summer, we had the opportunity to collaborate with our friends at Elevate Public Affairs to document a powerful partnership between PATH (People Assisting the Homeless), 211 San Diego, and DoorDash, who came together at the start of the pandemic to provide meals to people in need in downtown San Diego.
The program, PATH Cooks Mobile, serves fresh cooked meals to vulnerable neighbors seven days a week. DoorDash helps PATH make it happen, offering their delivery drivers to pick up the meals from PATH and bring right to the doors of those in need. Over the course of the pandemic, more than 25,000 meals have been delivered, and we filmed a special event to commemorate that milestone.
We filmed San Diego’s Mayor, Todd Gloria, as he helped the team at PATH package the 25,000th meal for delivery, then followed DoorDasher Andrew as he delivered the meal to one of his regular clients, Caroline. Check out the video below, and if visit PATH San Diego’s website to learn more about how to support their important work in the community.
